The Submersible Impeller-driven Pump (SIP) is designed for installations requiring high head pressure such as fountans and waterfalls. The oil-free motor and pump are encased in a stainless steel housing and cooling sleeve for proper operation and cooling. The Submersible Propeller Pump (SPP) combines the installation and maintnance features of the SIP pump with a propeller driven pump, which allows for a higher flow rate at the same power level, albeit with some reduction in head pressure. This make the SPP ideal for watercourses and water circulation applications.

- Heavy duty power cord strain relief on all pumps for maximum cable protection.
- Eyebolt on 3/4 and 1 horsepower (Two lifting lugs on 2HP and larger units).
- Hardware is stainless steel.
- Buna "N" O-Rings
- VPI motor enhancement system to greatly extend the winding life expectancy of all V-Power pumps
- Stainless Steel Shaft
- Oil lubricated mechanical seals
- Suction case made of 356T6 Aluminum, anti-corrosion coated, plus wear resistant polyurethane liner.
- Rugged stainless steel suction strainer.
- 356T6 Aluminum, anti corrosion coated discharge head.
- Permanetly lubricated bearings
- Pressure test plug to check integrity of pump seals.
- Double mechanical shaft seals. Ondustrial type 21 for maximum durability and wear resistance.
- Spiral seal lubricator to extend life of upper (inboard) shaft seal.
- Poluurethane impellers on 3/4 and 1HP units. Abrasice resistant, hardened 440C stainless steel impellers on 2HP and larger units.
- Special abrasion resistant wear plate on 2 through 5HP models protects the difuser from abrasive material.
